Today was almost the same: the temperature was steady at 37 degrees Fahrenheit with cloudy skies.
For a winter season, this weekend was warmer than last week.

January 3-4, 2009 Weather: Sunny and Mild
For the weekend (January 4-5, 2008), Jersey City was particulary mild. Yesterday (January 4), the weather was sunny, with temperature hovered around mid-30's. A little wind made the day colder, but it was a gorgeous day in general.

December 29, 2008 Weather: Mild and Fair
We have a mild weather today in Jersey City. It is not as warm as yesterday, but it is also not as cold as it was last week. The temperature says we are going to be in the mid-40's today.
If you go outside, you will notice that we have a partly cloudy skies, with the sun peeking in once in a while. Not a bad weather if you ask me.
However, the temperature will drop in the evening as winds will come.

December 10, 2008 Weather: Rainy and Mild
Weather forecast for today in Jersey City is going to be rainy will rainfall of 2"-3.5". You're going to need something to get your feet dry and an umbrella if you're going out. The weather temperature is in the 60's (imagine that!) so it is going to be mild (65 degrees at noon).
However, tonight, cold air will push in, and will be persistent until Friday night. I will update this post once something significant happens.

The photo above was taken at 430PM on Graham Street of Jersey City. According to the latest weather forecast, strong rain is pushing in not only in Jersey City or New York, but in the entire Tri-State area. As a matter of fact, a severe weather alert (Flood Watch) has been issued by the National Weather Service:

December 09, 2008 Weather: Cold Start Then Mild
It was a cold start today in Jersey City, with temperature in the 30's. But as the day progressed, the temperature climb to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and right now, it is in the low 50's. The weather forecast was correct: it turned mild today.
It was definitely cloudy and became darker in the afternoon. Later in the evening, there was a shower, but it didn't persist.
The weather forecast for tomorrow (Dec. 10, 2008) says temperature will be in the 60's, but it will also rain, not only in Hudson County but also in New York City. News said there "might" be a chance of "Severe Weather Alert" so stay tuned.
