November 15, 2008: Rainy and Windy!

The background is New York City from Liberty State Park, Jersey City. The weather doesn't look too appealing: it is foggy, cold, windy, and it is beginning to drizzle at 9AM today. I am 100% sure that it is going to rain, so take extra care when you are driving. As a matter of fact, National Weather Service issued a Tornado watch in the Tri-State area.

By the way, temperature is in the 40's.

Severe Storms Possible

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A LINE OF SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 20 MILES NORTHEAST OF ALLENTOWN TO JUST WEST OF PHILADELPHIA PENNSYLVANIA. INDIVIDUAL CELLS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH… WHILE THE ENTIRE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH.

PEOPLE IN NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY SHOULD MONITOR THE WEATHER SITUATION CLOSELY. LISTEN FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD SEVERE WEATHER THREATEN.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH MAY BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.
