The day started cloudy in Jersey City, with a few moments of suns. This afternoon however, the weather forecast said it will snow again. The temperature is in the low 30's.

Tonight, weather forecast says to expect scattered snow flurries and snow showers this evening. Becoming partly cloudy later. Low around 20F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 30%.

January 2, 2009 Weather: Few flurries

The weather forecast for today in Jersey City is cloudy -- Variable clouds with snow showers or flurries. High 36F. Winds SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 50%.. It is also expected that the few flurries will fall sometime around 11 AM to noon, so watch out if you are going out.

The weather temperature will remain steady at mid-30's, but it will drop to low-30's as the day progresses. Although the temperature read 30's, the weather feels like we are in the low 20's.

Tonight, weather is expected to be mostly cloudy early, then clearing overnight. Low 28F. Winds W at 10 to 20 mph.

December 20, 2008 Weather: Colder Flurries, Then Storm Part 2

After the snow storm that hit almost the entire Tri-State area yesterday, we are now going to experience colder flurries today in Jersey City. The weather temperature this morning is between 23 degrees Fahrenheit and 29 degrees.

Although, it seems quiet and calm right now, there will be another snow coming tonight until tomorrow (Sunday, December 21, 2008). 1" to 3" of snow is expected in the Northern New Jersey and New York. A WINTER WEATHER WATCH has been raised for tonight until tomorrow afternoon.

POCKETS OF LIGHT FREEZING RAIN OR LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE AND LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE TRI-STATE AREA FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MOST ROADS HAVE BEEN TREATED BUT THERE COULD BE SOME SLICK SPOTS SO MOTORISTS TRAVELLING THIS MORNING SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION.

December 16, 2008 Weather: "Flurrious" Start

It is bad outside, we have flurries and snow but there's no accumulation since it has accompanying rain. Wet and gray today in Jersey City.

The temperature is in the low 40's, but the forecast says we haven't seen the worse for today.

We are going to have more rain today, and probably some snow.

I'll update if something significant happens.

The first Winter Warning has been issued by the National Weather Services. It basically says Hudson County, New Jersey will experience up to half an inch of snow tonight. Read below for the warning.

According to nj.com, "On Wednesday commuters may slog through a messy mix of rain and snow, which will turn into rain in the late morning as temperatures climb to 40 degrees."

November 18, 2008 Weather: Morning Flurries, Wintry Feeling

I saw flurries this morning on my way out to work.Weather forecasts in Jersey City said it will snow, but it didn't. It was cold, with temperature in the 30's, as Jersey City residents covered themselves up with layers of clothes and coats to warm up. The mild wind definitely didn't help.

I heard tomorrow's weather is going to be much colder.
